About Anne Marie Zanfagna:

Anne Marie Zanfagna’s portraits are a true testament to the power of art therapy. Her heart and soul go into every portrait painting that she does. Inspired after the loss of her daughter Jacqueline to a heroin overdose in October 2014, Anne Marie has taken her loss and used it to fuel her mission to paint colorful, vibrant portraits of others who have passed away from heroin overdose.

About Angels of Addictions Organization:

Angels of Addictions exists to put faces to the rising numbers of addiction related deaths. As we learn more about the disease of addiction, our goal is to help others as they grieve and commemorate those who have lost their battle with addiction.

Each person who has lost their life to addiction has many people who loved them and were loved by them. Our desire is to grant all requests for portraits. It will take a great deal of time, but each person lived and loved and deserves to be remembered for who they were and not the disease that took them.

There are still many people who do not understand how the disease of addiction ravishes its victims and those who love them. Angels of Addictions strives to display the painted portraits as a group to help increase awareness and understanding.

Through daily life and during gallery showings and public speaking events, we meet so many who are suffering due to this disease. We work to educate ourselves to that we can provide access to good and effective resources for those who are seeking to recover.
