Program Description

Event Details

Hemlock trees create dense, dark, sheltered ecosystems vital for the survival of New Hampshire animals like moose, black bears, salamanders, and migratory birds. Once infected with HWA, severe damage and hemlock mortality occurs within 4-10 years. Join Ryan Crandall, NH Forest Health Specialist and the Bow Conservation Commission to learn to identify, report, and prevent the spread of the Hemlock Woolly Adelgid as well as other invasive pests in your community.
