Highlights New England Themed Turn of The Century buildings, still functional or repurposed that have intrigued me.

My medium of choice is watercolor, allowing for fluid movement and spontaneity; my subject can be impressionistic or illustrative. Familiar sites can become beacons for my inspiration, the paintings selected for this show represent subjects that have been inspirational in my artistic journey. I am fascinated by architecture from the turn of the century New England.  I also enjoy painting urban scenes of everyday life and people going about their day.  I have studied art at various schools in New York City; I was a creative Arts Therapist, followed by a practice as a Clinical Social Worker.  Now retired I have continued my art studies and taken courses at Kimball Jenkins. My paintings have appeared in numerous group and individual shows.  I am a member of The New Hampshire Women’s Caucus on the Arts. I am looking forward to this opportunity to show my work in Concord and the surrounding communities.
