Come hear Hopkinton author Judy Bibbins discuss her book, Severe Mercies, and discuss her personal experience!

Judy Bibbins is a writer and storyteller from Hopkinton, New Hampshire. Her debut memoir, Severe Mercies: A Journey of Faith, Love, and Mental Illness, shares her deeply personal journey through depression and anxiety, illuminated by love and sustained by faith. With honesty and compassion, Judy invites readers to discover hope and joy even in life’s hardest moments, encouraging open and empathetic conversations about mental health. In addition to her memoir, Judy is the author of two children’s books, including the awardwinning I Have a Gentle Giant, which celebrates unconditional love and the joy of friendship. Her stories often center on themes of kindness, compassion, and love.

Born and raised in New Hampshire, Judy draws inspiration from her small-town roots and her Scandinavian heritage, weaving their warmth and simplicity into everything she writes.
